BUGGERS & BREWS TYING CLASS 2/19/2013 - DEREK LeROY - Matuka Mombo
The Matuka-type streamer originated in New Zealand. It is used effectively there on big rainbow trout. It is a very difficult type of streamer to make, and it requires patient practice to tie a Matuka-type streamer so it looks like it should. This workshop will instruct you on how to make the perfect Matuka streamer. Tying materials are included, just bring tying tools, vise and thread.
Join us at Ypsilanti's Comer Brewery for unrivaled fly tying instruction, great club networking and a fund-raising event that is second to none! Proceeds will be donated to local conservation organizations to further their work.
Each session is just $20, and you will get expert presenters - like Dennis Potter, Chris Helm, Derek LeRoy and more plus guest instructors who move about the room to make sure you are learning the techniques the presenter is demonstrating.
